The issues and conflicts in my book are not completed or resolved by the end of my book simply because, my book does not end at Crank. Glass in the second half of Crank, a continuation of Kristinas life jurney after she has her kid. I liked the way my novel ended because it stops just after she has her son and then it gives you a hint of what is in Glass and how it starts by giving you the first few pages. Yes I liked the way the book ended because it kept me wondering what happened next and what move Kristina will make. The ending was reaslistic because it talks about how she has her kid then goes home and continues to live her life and the struggle that she is having from being away from the monster for so long.

I really enjoyed this book because it talks about a teenager that takes a really bad turn for the bad side when she decided to try crystal meth. I know so many of my friends that have gotten mixed up with drugs over friends and family issues when there is no need for it cause they know that they have a group of really great friends that is their for them to help them and talk to them when they need it. Some my closest friends that ive known since I was young have gotten hooked on drugs simply because they decided to try it one time to see that it was like, now when I see them I cant even recognize them. Yes my book was relatable to teenagers because it talks about a teenager that throws her life away just because she tried something new and took it to far. It also talks about how she meets new people and her old friends eventually stop talking to her. I feel sorry for so many people that have thrown their lives away over drugs such as meth, ice, cocaine, weed and so many others.

Blog # 3 Conflict

Drugs are poison to our bodies. Kristina doesnt care about anything anymore excpet getting high with Robyn and Chase. Her mom is worried and so is her step dad, but she just goes on like nothing is happening. After getting raped by Branden, Kristina and Chase get really close. After a month or so of dating Kristina find her self throwing up and feeling weak and not due to the drugs. She goes to the doctors and when they check the dates of everything they find out that is it Brandens kid that she carrying. Kristina makes the decision to terminate the pregnancy but she cant bring her self to do it, so her and Chase agree to keep it and her parents are there to support her. Kristina Quits the drugs until after Hunter Seth is born. She waits a few months but no longer has the will power to stay sober she misses the high too much.

What would you do if you found out that you were pregnant due to rap? If you decided to keep it like Kristina did would you still get back into the drugs just cause you missed getting high?

Kristina Georgia Snow

Kristina is a regular teenager that is growing up in the town of Reno. Before she goes to visit her dad in Albuquerque she was a good student and had a few really close friends. While visiting her dad tho she met Adam, a boy that she took interest in when she first seen him. Adam is well known in Albuquerque for drugs and so is Kristina's dad. Adam introduced Kristina to weed and she enjoyed it, but not as much as she enjoyed crank for the first time. She was at the bowling ally that her dad worked at with Adam when they agreed to get high. When Kristina returned home she returned with a split personality, Kristina was the good girl that did what she was told and Bree was the bad half of her that wanted the drugs, the experimenter.

When Kristina returned home she was a different person. Kristina was at her step dads company picnic when she met Brenden and Chase. Brenden was a lifeguard at the water park and Chase is the school bully. They were both into drugs and Kristina liked that about them. Brenden and Chase would take Kristina out to parties, drive her to school and buy her the drugs. Kristina became very attached to these two boys and was hardly thinking about Adam. Brenden would take things to far tho one night when Kristina and him were on a moonlight date in the Field just off the side of an abandoned road outside of town. Kristina and Brenden were getting high and Brenden started taking her clothes off and she said stop but he didn't.

After the incident she met Trent's sister Robyn who also smoked up and they two of them became really close friends. Kristina would pick up off of Robyn whenever she needed. Kristina was no longer a good student she spent all her free time smoking cigarettes and getting high nothing else really mattered. Kristina was also taking it out on her family sometimes. Causing fights and arguing which she never did before she went to her dads.

Blog #1 initial reaction

This book keeps drawing me in more and more every time I read it. Its getting harder and harder to put the book down. The book is not written like any other book, it is writtin in verse almost like a bunch of poems, but better.

This book is about a teenage girl who lives with her mom step dad sister and brother. Kristina is the middle child and she does well in school not straight A's but she knows her stuff. Her mom wants to write a book and her step dad over works. Older sister is a lesbian and her little brother is a spoiled little kid. She decides to go visit her dad for three weeks in Albuquerque over the summer holidays. While visiting her dad she meets a boy named Adam (aka buddy) and she ends up falling for him and he gets her to try weed and coke and gets her into ciggaretts.

When Kirstina returned she returned home she brought someone with her, a person on the inside she called Bree. Bree was the one that wanted the ciggaretts, weed, the coke. Bree is the one that wanted to do all the drugs and hit on the cute boys, she wasn't affraid to do anything. Bree is the one causing all the problem's with Kristina's life.

If you went away to visit a family member doesnt have to be your dad and you met a cute boy or girl that was mixed up in drugs would you get hooked on the stuff yourself just to get closer to them???? Do you think what she did was a good idea or a bad idea????
